वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण ने आम बजट 2021-22 में पुराने वाहनों को सड़कों से हटाने के लिए ‘स्क्रैप पॉलिसी’ की घोषणा की. ‘क्लीन एयर’ को ध्यान में रखते हुए इस पॉलिसी के तहत 20 साल पुराने निजी वाहनों और 15 साल पुराने कमर्शियल वाहनों को ऑटोमेटिक फिटनेस सेंटर पर जांच के लिए जाना होगा. निर्मला सीतारमण के इस ऐलान के बाद राजमार्ग और एमएसएमई मंत्री नितिन गडकरी ने प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस की. नितिन गडकरी ने स्क्रैप पॉलिसी के फायदे गिनाए. उन्होंने बताया कि स्क्रैप पॉलिसी की आपकी पुरानी गाड़ी पर क्या असर पड़ेगा. ज्यादा जानकारी के लिए देखें वीडियो.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Monday announced the much-awaited voluntary vehicle scrapping policy to phase out old and polluting vehicles.Presenting the Budget for 2021-22 in Parliament, Sitharaman said that under voluntary vehicle scrapping policy, personal vehicles would undergo fitness test after 20 years while commercial vehicles would require it after completion of 15 years.After Nirmala Sitharaman's announcmenet, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari held a press conference.
