The daily tally of Covid-19 cases in Delhi crossed 4,000 for the first time on Wednesday with 4,039 people testing positive. The earlier peak was on June 23 when Delhi recorded 3,947 new cases. Chief minister Arvind Kejriwal pointed out in a tweet that Delhi was also testing aggressively with 54,517 tests having been carried out in the past 24 hours.
