Northern Railway have made special preparations for Chhath Puja. Railways have run 90 special trains in Chhath puja for passengers of Bihar and East Uttar Pradesh. Earlier, In a Diwali gift to passengers, the railways scrapped flexi-fare in 15 premium trains. The system has been completely scrapped in trains with less than 50 per cent occupancy, while 20 per cent discount will be offered in trains with less than 60 per cent occupancy.
