उत्तर प्रदेश में राजनीति की लहर तेज है. आज प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने उत्तर प्रदेश के मेरठ में मेजर ध्यानचंद स्पोर्ट्स यूनिवर्सिटी का शिलान्यास किया. सरधना कस्बे के कैली गांवों में लगभग 700 करोड़ रुपये की अनुमानित लागत से विश्वविद्यालय की स्थापना की जाएगी. पीएम ने अपने संबोधन में कहा कि साल की शुरुआत में मेरठ आना अपने आप में मेरे लिए बहुत अहम है. भारत के इतिहास में मेरठ का स्थान सिर्फ एक शहर का नहीं है, बल्कि मेरठ हमारी संस्कृति और सामर्थ्य का भी महत्वपूर्ण केंद्र है. इस दौरान पीएम ने विपक्ष पर भी निशाना साधा. उन्होंने कहा कि पहले की सरकारों में यूपी में अपराधी अपना खेल खेलते थे, माफिया अपना खेल खेलते थे. पहले यहां अवैध कब्जे के टूर्नामेंट होते थे. देखें आगे क्या बोले पीएम मोदी.
On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of Major Dhyan Chand Sports University in Meerut in Uttar Pradesh. The university is being established at an estimated cost of Rs 700 crore in the Salawa and Kaili villages of Sardhana town in Meerut.
