मॉनसून के शुरुआती दिनों में ही देश के उत्तर दक्षिण पूरब और पश्चिम में जलप्रलय का मंजर दिखने लगा है. बिहार में हालात ज्यादा मुश्किल हैं क्योंकि नेपाल में भी भारी बरसात हो रही है और वहां का पानी सरहदों को लांघते हुए इस पार आकर कहर ढा रहा है. रक्सौल में पानी के जोर से बांध टूट गया और पलभर में प्रलय सा मंजर हो बना. करीब आधा दर्जन पंचायतों में घुटने से ऊपर पानी भर गया है. स्कूल की इमारत, खेत मकान सबकुछ जलमग्न हैं. लोग जान बचाने के लिए किसी तरह गांव छोड़कर भाग रहे हैं. देखें वीडियो.
