बारिश देश के कुछ शहरों के लिए बड़ी आफत लेकर आईं हैं. नदियां ऐसी उफनीं कि शहरों कस्बों और कॉलोनियों में घुस आईं. कई जगह लोगों को जान के लाले पड़ गए. राजस्थान हरियाणा से लेकर आंध्रप्रदेश और गुजरात तक से डराने वाली तस्वीरें आईं हैं. वहीं बिहार में बाढ़ की स्थिति भयावह बनी हुई है और इसी बीच समस्तीपुर शहर से एक डराने वाली तस्वीर सामने आई है. समस्तीपुर शहर के बीच से गुजरने वाली बूढ़ी गंडक नदी खतरे के निशान से काफी ऊपर बह रही है और हालात ऐसे हैं कि शहर के दो हिस्सों को जोड़ने के लिए बनाया गया एक पुराना लोहे का पुल अब बूढ़ी गंडक नदी के बढ़ते जलस्तर के कारण खतरे में है. देखें ये वीडियो.
