बिहार में पानी का प्रहार लगातार जारी है. सबसे बुरा हाल है वैशाली जिले का जहां शहर से लेकर ग्रामीण इलाके जलमग्न हैं. गंगा में पानी ही पानी है. अस्पताल में बाढ़ के पानी ने डेरा जमा लिया है. डॉक्टर साहब के कमरे में मछलियां तैर रही है. मरीज बीमार है लेकिन पानी में डूबकर जाने की लाचारी है. वैशाली के विश्व धरोहरों पर पानी का कब्जा हो चुका है. बांध टूट रहे हैं और गांवों में बेहिसाब पानी घुस रहा है. बिहार के कई जिले अभी भी बाढ़ की विभीषिका झेल रहे हैं. दरअसल वैशाली जिले में पानी से परेशानी की बड़ी वजह जाफराबाद बांध का टूटना भी है.
