आज दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने प्रेस कांफ्रेंस की है. सीएम केजरीवाल ने कहा कि अगर राज्य सरकारें अपने-अपने राज्य से पद्मा अवॉर्ड्स के लिए किसी हस्ती का नाम देना चाहें तो भेज सकती हैं. दिल्ली सरकार ने तय किया है कि इस बार हम केवल डॉक्टर्स और स्वास्थ्य कर्मियों के नाम पद्मा अवॉर्ड्स के लिए भेजेंगे. उन्होंने कहा कि हम डॉक्टर और स्वास्थ्य कर्मियों के शुक्रगुजार हैं और हम उनका सम्मान करना चाहते हैं, इसलिए इस बार के पद्मा अवॉर्ड्स के लिए स्वास्थ्य कर्मियों के नाम भेजे जाएंगे और यह नाम जनता बताएगी. लोगो के भेजे गए नाम केंद्र सरकार को भेजेंगे. 15 अगस्त तक नाम भेजे जाने हैं. देखें ये वीडियो.
The Delhi government has decided to nominate the names of doctors and healthcare workers for this year's Padma awards. While addressing the press conference, CM Arvind Kejriwal stated that we want to tell them that we are thankful to the frontline health workers. The public will suggest us these names.
