विजय रुपाणी के इस्तीफा देने के बाद भूपेंद्र पटेल को गुजरात का नया मुख्यमंत्री बनाया गया है. इसका ऐलान बीजेपी की विधायक दल की बैठक में किया गया. गुजरात में रविवार को विधायक दल की हुई बैठक में भूपेंद्र पटेल के नाम पर मुहर लग गई है. नए सीएम के नाम को लेकर मंथन कल से ही चल रहा था. सीएम की रेस में केंद्रीय मंत्री मनसुख मंडाविया, पुरुषोत्तम रुपाला, लक्षद्वीप के प्रशासक प्रफुल पटेल, डिप्टी सीएम नितिन पटेल, सीआर पाटिल और गोरधन झड़फिया भी थे, लेकिन गुजरात बीजेपी विधायक दल की बैठक में फाइनल मुहर भूपेंद्र पटेल के नाम पर लगी. भूपेंद्र पटेल घाटलोडिया सीट से विधायक हैं. आज बीजेपी की विधायक दल की बैठक में केंद्रीय मंत्री नरेंद्र सिंह तोमर और गुजरात के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री विजय रूपाणी की उपस्थिति में ये एलान किया गया. विजय रूपाणी ने भूपेंद्र पटेल के नाम का प्रस्ताव रखा और उनके नाम पर मुहर लगा दी गई. देखें विजय रुपाणी ने अपने संबोधन में भूपेंद्र पटेल की तारीफ करते हुए क्या कहा.
