जम्मू-कश्मीर के कटरा में भूकंप के झटके महसूस किये गए. ये झटके सुबह 5 बजकर 8 मिनट पर महसूस हुए. रिक्टर स्केल पर भूकंप की तीव्रता 3.6 मापी गयी. कम तीव्रता की वजह से सभी को झटके महसूस नहीं हुए बल्कि कुछ लोगों ने ही भूकंप को महसूस करने का दावा किया. भूकंप का एपीसेंटर कटरा के आस पास ही था, जिसकी वजह से ये कटरा में महसूस हुआ. पिछले एक साल में जम्मू-कश्मीर के पहाड़ी क्षेत्रों में कई बार भूकंप के झटके महसूस किये गए हैं.
