मुंबई लगातार मूसलाधार बारिश होने की वजह से मुंबई कि अमूमन सभी निचले इलाकों में पानी भर गया है. जिन इलाकों में पानी भरा है उसमें एक प्रमुख तौर पर, सायन, चेम्बूर, कुर्ला, अंधेरी, बोरीवली और कांदिवली शामिल हैं. चैंबूर में पहाड़ का एक हिस्सा गिर गया, कई मकान इसकी चपेट में आ गए. मलबे में दबकर 12 लोगों की मौत हो गई. विक्रोली में भी कई मकान मलबे की चपेट में आ गए. 3 लोगों की यहां भी मौत की खबर है. लोगों का कहना है कि 12:30 बजे खबर आई थी कि ये घटना घट चुकी है. किसी को कुछ पता नहीं था क्योंकि पूरा ऐरिया पानी से भर चुका था, जैसे-जैसे पता चला तो हम यहां देखने आए तो देखा कि लाशें निकलीं, कुछ बच्चों को बाहर निकाला. पर रास्ता इतना छोटा है कि एम्बुलेंस या कोई गाड़ी अंदर नहीं आ सकती है तो हम ही लोगों ने मिल कर मदद की. देखें ये वीडियो.
Due to continuous torrential rains, almost all low-lying areas of Mumbai have been flooded. The areas which have been flooded mainly include Sion, Chembur, Kurla, Andheri, Borivali, and Kandivali. A part of the mountain collapsed in Chembur, many houses were hit by it. 12 people died after being buried under the rubble. Many houses in Vikhroli also came under the debris where the deaths of three have been reported. People say that at 12:30 there was news that this incident had happened. No one knew anything because the whole area was filled with water, as soon as we came to know, we came here to see that the dead bodies were being taken out, some children were also rescued.
