रविवार को हुई तीनों सेनाओं की एक साझा प्रेंस कॉन्फ्रेंस में एक बात साफ हो गई कि अग्निवीर सेना की जरूरत हैं. आने वाले भविष्य में सेना में जोश की कमी हो जाएगी क्योंकि सेना में मौजूद लोगों की उम्र का औसत करीब 32 साल है. ऐसे सेना पिछले 30 सालों से चाहती थी कि ये औसत उम्र घटकर 26 साल पर आ जाए. अग्निपथ स्कीम इसी की खास पहल है. अग्निपथ स्कीम के लॉन्च होने के साथ ही युवाओं का गुस्सा फूट पड़ा था. विरोध प्रदर्शनों के बाद इस स्कीम से जुड़ी नई-नई बातें हर दिन सामने आती रहीं हैं. इसलिए आज इस मुद्दे पर सरकार और सेना की ओर से फाइनल कॉमेंट आना था. रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने भी अग्निपथ योजना को लेकर एक खास समीक्षा बैठक की थी, इस बैठक में तीनों सेनाओं के प्रमुख और सेना कुछ वरिष्ठ कमांडर्स शामिल थे. सेना में जोशीले नौजवान सैनिकों की कमी एक बड़ी चिंता थी, जिसका समाधान कुछ इस तरह से निकाला गया है. अब सवाल ये है कि चार साल की सेवा देने के बाद अग्निवीर क्या करेंगे. इस सवाल का क्या जवाब दिया गया है, और युवाओं के भविष्य की योजनाओं से जुड़े सवालों के जवाब क्या थे, देखें ये रिपोर्ट.
