चीन के साथ सीमा पर तनाव के बीच बुधवार को सेना प्रमुख एम.एम. नरवणे लेह पहुंचे. यहां उन्होंने अधिकारियों के साथ मुलाकात की, साथ ही अन्य जरूरी तैयारियों का जायजा लिया. सेना प्रमुख ने रेचिन ला इलाके में जवानों से मुलाकात की, वहां की तैयारियों को परखा. इस दौरान उन्होंने स्थानीय तैयारियों की तारीफ की. अपने इस दौरे के दौरान सेना प्रमुख ने फॉरवर्ड लाइन का दौरा किया, जहां फायर एंड फ्यूरी के जवान मौजूद हैं. स्थानीय अफसरों ने सेना प्रमुख को सभी तैयारियों, आने वाली चुनौतियों से अवगत कराया. देखें वीडियो.
Indian Army chief General MM Naravane on Wednesday visited areas on the southern bank of Pangong Lake and reviewed the situation along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) amid the standoff with China.
