AIMIM प्रमुख असदुद्दीन ओवैसी जो वैसे भी इन मुद्दों से दूर नहीं रहते, वो अब बीजेपी के सामने आ गए हैं. आजतक के साथ खास बातचीत में ओवैसी ने कहा कि अगर कोई लड़की पहले से हिजाब पहन रही है तो अचानक कहां से ख्याल आ गया कि हिजाब पहन कर कॉलेज नहीं जा सकते. ओवैसी ने मोदी के बेटी वाले नारे पर कटाक्ष किया और कहा कि ये ही नारा है 'बेटी बचाओ, बेटी पढ़ाओ', तो क्यों नहीं पढ़ने दे रहे. उन्होंने कहा कि देवबंद वाले भारत से मोहब्बत करने वाले हैं और जो उन पर शक कर रहे हैं वो देश के दुश्मन हैं. देखें ये वीडियो.
