Assam Floods: असम में भारी बारिश के चलते हालात बेकाबू हो गए हैं. बाढ़ के कहर से लोगों का जीनव अस्त व्यस्त हो गया है. बारिश की जद में असम के 29 जिले आ गए हैं. 7 लाख से अधिक लोग बाढ़ से प्रभावित हैं और अब तक 14 लोगों की जान जा चुकी है. रेस्क्यू ऑपरेशन चलाया जा रहा है. इसी बीच गुवाहाटी स्थित क्षेत्रीय मौसम विज्ञान केंद्र ने 21 मई तक असम और मेघालय में भारी बारिश का अलर्ट जारी किया है. मौसम विभाग ने कहा है कि दक्षिण-पश्चिमी हवाओं के कारण बंगाल की खाड़ी से दबाव बनेगा. लिहाजा उत्तरपूर्वी क्षेत्र में भारी बारिश जारी रहने के आसार हैं. देखें पूरी खबर.
Torrential rains brought the heavy floods in Assam, with four more people perishing in the deluge. While two people died in the Cachar district, Lakhimpur and Nagaon witnessed one death each. The death toll in the current pre-monsoon floods and landslides in Assam has risen to 14, with nearly 7.12 lakh people affected in 29 of the state's 34 districts.
