प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने गुरुवार को संविधान दिवस के मौके पर केवड़िया में जारी एक कार्यक्रम को संबोधित किया. पीएम मोदी ने इस दौरान मुंबई हमले में शहीद हुए लोगों को श्रद्धांजलि दी और कहा कि हम वो जख्म कभी नहीं भूल सकते हैं. इसी के साथ पीएम मोदी ने एक बार फिर देश का ध्यान वन नेशन-वन इलेक्शन की ओर खींचा और इसे वक्त की जरूरत बताया.
Speaking on Constitution Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, "One Nation, One Election’ isn’t just an issue of deliberation, but also need of the country. It hampers the developmental work and all of you know about it. We must think about it seriously and office-holders can lead deliberations on this." Prime Minister Narendra Modi further said, "I want to appreciate all the efforts by our parliamentarians during COVID19 pandemic." "All our decisions should be evaluated on the scale of national interest," he added.
