Milkha Singh is no more among us. He won gold in the 200 and 400 meters race of the 1958 Asian Games and finished fourth in the 1960 Rome Olympics. This was the first time that an athlete from India reached the finals of the Olympics. No athlete could even touch the national record set by him for four decades.
