प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी रविवार को 'मन की बात' के जरिए देश को संबोधित किया. ये 81वां एपिसोड था. आज 'वर्ल्ड रिवर डे' भी है, इसलिए पीएम मोदी ने अपने कार्यक्रम में नदियों के महत्व के बारे में बताया. पीएम मोदी ने कहा, 'नदी हमारे लिए भौतिक वस्तु नहीं, बल्कि जीवंत इकाई है. पीएम मोदी ने 'आर्थिक स्वच्छता' का भी जिक्र किया. पीएम मोदी ने कहा कि कोविड-19 ने हमें बहुत कुछ सिखाया है. आज हेल्थकेयर और वेलनेस को लेकर जागरूकता और जिज्ञासा बढ़ी है. पीएम मोदी ने बताया कि रांची के सतीश ने झारखंड के एलोवेरा विलेज के बारे में बताया है. यहां मंजू कच्छप के नेतृत्व में महिलाएं एलोवेरा की खेती कर रहीं हैं. कोरोनाकाल में भी इनकी कमाई हुई, क्योंकि सैनेटाइजर बनानी वाली कंपनियों ने इन एलोवेरा को खरीदा. पीएम ने बताया कि ओडिशा के पतायत साहू ने भी मेडिकल प्लांट लगाए हैं. उन्होंने कहा कि इन लोगों ने खेती को जिस प्रकार स्वास्थ्य के क्षेत्र से जोड़ा है, वो एक अपने आप में एक मिसाल है. देखें ये वीडियो.

The women of Deori village near Ranchi had undergone training in Aloe Vera cultivation from Birsa Agricultural School under the leadership of Manju Kachhap ji.
