जलियांवाला बाग स्मारक के रिनोवेटेड परिसर का शुक्रवार को प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी द्वारा उद्घाटन किया गया. प्रधानमंत्री ने इस परिसर को राष्ट्र के नाम समर्पित किया. दरअसल, जलियांवाला बाग का केंद्रीय स्थलल माने जाने वाले 'ज्वाला स्मारक' की मरम्मत करने के साथ-साथ इसका पुनर्निर्माण किया गया है. इस दौरान प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने पंजाब की वीर भूमि को, जलियांवाला बाग की पवित्र मिट्टी को प्रणाम किया. साथ ही उन्होंने जालियांवाला बाग हत्याकांड के शहीदों को याद किया, साथ ही कहा कि ये परिसर उन शहीदों की कुर्बानी के बारे नई पीढ़ियों को जानकारी देगा. ज्यादा जानकारी के लिए देखें ये वीडियो.
