प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने अपने संबोधन में कहा कि शरद पवार समेत कई कांग्रेस के नेताओं ने भी कृषि सुधारों की बात की है. शरद पवार ने अभी भी सुधारों का विरोध नहीं किया, हमें जो अच्छा लगा वो किया आगे भी सुधार करते रहेंगे. पीएम मोदी ने कहा कि आज विपक्ष यू-टर्न कर रहा है, क्योंकि राजनीति हावी है. पीएम मोदी ने सदन में पूर्व पीएम मनमोहन सिंह का कथन पढ़ा, ‘हमारी सोच है कि बड़ी मार्केट को लाने में जो अड़चने हैं, हमारी कोशिश है कि किसान को उपज बेचने की इजाजत हो’. पीएम मोदी ने कहा कि जो मनमोहन सिंह ने कहा वो मोदी को करना पड़ रहा है, आप गर्व कीजिए.
