'भारत रत्न' पूर्व राष्ट्रपति प्रणब मुखर्जी का आज निधन हो गया. सोमवार शाम को 84 साल की उम्र में प्रणब मुखर्जी ने अंतिम सांस ली. वो पिछले कई दिनों से बीमार थे और दिल्ली के आर्मी अस्पताल में भर्ती थे. प्रणब मुखर्जी पाइप पीने के शौकीन थे. दरअसल कांग्रेस नेता देवकांत बरुआ ने प्रणब मुखर्जी को तोहफे में पाइप दिया था और फिर तभी से उन्हें यह आदत लग गई. राष्ट्रपति रहते हुए उन्हें 500 से ज्यादा पाइप तोहफे में मिले थे जिसे उन्होंने राष्ट्रपति भवन के संग्रहालय में दे दिया. देखें ये रिपोर्ट.
Pranab Mukherjee, former president of India and veteran Congressman passed away on Monday after a prolonged illness. Pranab Mukherjee was fond of smoking pipe. Once Congress leader Devkant Barua had gifted him a pipe and from then he got used to it. While being the President, he received more than 500 pipes as in gifts which he had given to the museum of Rashtrapati Bhavan. Watch the video for more details.
