कांग्रेस के वरिष्ठ नेता गुलाम नबी आजाद ने पार्टी छोड़ दी. उन्होंने सोनिया गांधी को 5 पेज का इस्तीफा भेजा और पार्टी के सभी पदों से त्याग पत्र दिया. जिसमें गुलाम नबी ने लिखा कि जबसे पार्टी में राहुल गांधी की एंट्री हुई और खासतौर से 2013 में कांग्रेस के राष्ट्रीय उपाध्यक्ष बने थे, तब से उन्होंने पार्टी में बातचीत का पूरा खाका ध्वस्त कर दिया.
