पंजाब में कांग्रेस ने अमरिदर सिंह और नवजोत सिंह सिद्धू के झगड़े का फुल एंड फाइनल हिसाब-किताब करने की कोशिश की है. कई महीनों से कांग्रेस के ये दोनों नेता एक-दूसरे पर तलवार भांज रहे थे और पंजाब में कांग्रेस की उम्मीदों को लहूलुहान कर रहे थे. हाल ही में कांग्रेस आलकमान ने कई सख्त फैसले किए. कांग्रेस को भी इस वक्त पंजाब में ओलावृष्टि का सामना करना पड़ रहा है. कैप्टन अमरिंदर सिंह ने सीएम की कुर्सी खाली कर दी है लेकिन नवजोत सिंह सिद्धू के लिए उनके कारतूस अभी खाली नहीं हुए हैं. आजतक से विस्फोटक इंटरव्यू में कैप्टन ने अपने इरादे जाहिर कर दिए. ये बता दिया कि सिद्धू के मामले में वो खुलकर खेलने वाले हैं. विधायकों दल में प्रस्ताव पारित करा लिया गया कि नया मुख्यमंत्री सोनिया गांधी ही तय करें. देखें ये वीडियो.
