कानपुर में नई सड़क इलाके में शुक्रवार को जुमे की नमाज के बाद भीषण हिंसा भड़क गई. दो गुटों में भिड़ंत हो गई जिसके बाद पुलिस पहुंची तो पुलिस को भी निशाना बनाया गया, घंटों तक पथराव होता रहा और देर रात जाकर हालात कुछ काबू में आए. आज सुबह से नई सड़क और आसपास के रिहाइशी इलाके और बाजार छावनी में तब्दील हो चुके हैं, सबसे ज्यादा चिंताजनक ये है कि कानपुर में ये सब ऐसे वक्त में हुआ जब राष्ट्रपति प्रधानमंत्री और यूपी के सीएम तीनों एक साथ इसी शहर में थे. राष्ट्रपति आज भी सुबह 11 बजे तक यहीं हैं, जाहिर है पुलिस और प्रशासन की सांसे अटकी हुई हैं.
