अलीगढ़ मुस्लिम यूनिवर्सिटी (AMU) के वीसी प्रोफेसर तारिक मंसूर ने मंगलवार को केंद्रीय शिक्षा मंत्री रमेश पोखरियाल निशंक से यूनिवर्सिटी में कोरोना महामारी को लेकर बातचीत की. वीसी ने केंद्रीय मंत्री से कोरोना वायरस के नए स्ट्रेन को लेकर जो नमूने भेजे हैं उनकी जल्द से जल्द जांच कराने की मांग की है. अलीगढ़ मुस्लिम यूनिवर्सिटी में कोरोना का कहर जारी है. पिछले 20-22 दिनों में स्टाफ के कई लोगों की कोरोना से मौत हो चुकी है, जिनमें 17 मौजूदा प्रोफेसर भी शामिल हैं. ज्यादा जानकारी के लिए देखें वीडियो.
