1 dead in Majerhat bridge collapse in Kolkata, no trapped body found
Apart of South Kolkata's arterial Majerhat bridge collapsed this evening during peak hour traffic, leaving one dead and at least 20 injured. National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) deployed in the area has found no trapped bodies under the debris. "We haven't found any trapped body or anyone alive," NDRF's Nishit Upadhyay said. Five teams of the NDRF and 200 personnels are deployed at the spot.
