Kashmir valley is under grip of cold wave as higher reaches of valley received fresh snowfall and plains like Srinagar and other towns witnesses moderate rains. This year winters arrived early in Kashmir valley and untimely snowfall on first week of November. Heavy snowfall has severely increased cold. Heavy snowfall in many areas of Kashmir has affected common life. In Uttarkashi, the snowfall has increased in the cold.
