बंगाल की खाड़ी में उठा चक्रवात तूफान अम्फान अब तेज रफ्तार के साथ पश्चिम बंगाल और ओडिशा की तरफ बढ़ रहा है. मौसम विभाग का अनुमान है कि उफान पर पहुंचकर सुपर साइक्लोन तबाही मचा सकता है. जानकारी के मुताबिक यह चक्रवाती तूफान आज दोपहर से शाम तक बंगाल की खाड़ी से उत्तर-पूर्व की ओर बढ़ सकता है. इसके मद्देनजर मौसम विभाग ने पूर्वी तटों के राज्य तमिलनाडु और पुडुचेरी से लेकर आंध्र प्रदेश, ओडिशा, पश्चिम बंगाल, त्रिपुरा, मिजोरम, मणिपुर और आस-पास के तटीय इलाकों में ऑरेंज अलर्ट जारी किया है. वहीं, ओडिशा के तटीय जिले हाई अलर्ट पर हैं. इस मामले में ज्यादा जानकारी दे रहीं हैं आजतक संवाददाता मनोज्ञा लोइवाल. देखें वीडियो.
Cyclone Amphan has now turned into a super cyclonic storm and is spiralling towards Indian shores, prompting the West Bengal and Odisha governments to start evacuating people from vulnerable areas. The IMD has issued an orange alert for Bengal and Odisha as the cyclone inches closer to the coasts. NDRF teams are already on the ground.
