रांची हाईकोर्ट से इलाज के लिए मिली अस्थायी जमानत की अवधि नहीं बढ़ाए जाने के कारण लालू यादव, 30 अगस्त को अदालत के समक्ष आत्मसमर्पण करेंगे. अपनी बीमारी, इलाज और अदालत में चल रहे मामलों पर लालू यादव ने आजतक से खास बात की. उन्होंने बताया कि उनका हृदय, गुर्दा आदि प्रभावित है.
