समाजवादी पार्टी के प्रमुख अखिलेश यादव मंगलवार को पीड़िता से मिलने KGMU पहुंचे. यहां उन्होंने बीजेपी पर जमकर हमला बोला. अखिलेश यादव ने कहा कि समाजवादी पार्टी पहले दिन से पीड़िता के साथ है, लगातार हम साथ में खड़े रहेंगे. सरकार की जिम्मेदारी है. यूपी ने देश को पीएम, राष्ट्रपति दिया है लेकिन क्या एक बेटी को न्याय नहीं दिला सकते हैं. उन्होंने कहा कि बीजेपी की सरकार कुछ भी कह सकती है और कुछ भी करा सकती है, आज आप सपा का नाम ले रहे हैं और सोनभद्र में आप जवाहर लाल नेहरू का नाम ले रहे थे.
