महाराष्ट्र के मुंबई में सोमवार को एक नौ मंजिला इमारत में आग लग गई. आग जिस बिल्डिंग में लगी है वो एमटीएनएल एक्सचेंज की है. आग इमारत की तीसरी और चौथी मंजिल पर लगी है. अब तक किसी के हताहत होने की कोई खबर नहीं है. बचाव कार्य जारी है. घटना के विस्तृत ब्योरे की प्रतीक्षा है. जिस बिल्डिंग में आग लगी है, उसकी छत पर 100 लोग फंसे हैं जिन्हें निकालने का काम जारी है. इससे पहले मुंबई में ही ताजमहल और डिप्लोमैट होटल के पास चर्चिल चैंबर बिल्डिंग में आग लगी थी. दमकल के कर्मचारियों ने 14 लोगों को सुरक्षित बाहर निकाला था. इस हादसे में एक व्यक्ति की मौत हो गई थी. वहीं, दो लोग गंभीर रूप से जख्मी हो गए थे.
A major fire broke out inside the Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) building at Andheri on Monday afternoon. At least 100 people are believed to be trapped inside. Four fire tenders were rushed to the spot in the first batch to bring the blaze under control. Fire fighting and rescue operations is in progress and efforts to rescue people stranded on upper floors and terrace of the building are on, the official said.
