पिछले 2 सालों से सोनिया गांधी कांग्रेस पार्टी की अंतरिम अध्यक्ष है. दरअसल जब 2019 में राहुल गांधी ने अपना इस्तीफा दिया तो कांग्रेस कार्यसमिति की बैठक में सोनिया गांधी को अंतरिम अध्यक्ष बनने के लिए मनाया गया लेकिन सोनिया गांधी ने इसी शर्त पर हामी भरी कि जल्द से जल्द संगठन के चुनाव के जरिए नया अध्यक्ष चुना जाएगा. तब से अब तक तारीख पर तारीख का सिलसिला चल रहा है. कपिल सिब्बल, गुलाम नबी आजाद और आनंद शर्मा जैसे दिग्गज नेता खुलकर अपनी ही पार्टी पर निशाना साध रहे हैं और कांग्रेस में फुल टाइम अध्यक्ष नहीं होने को लेकर नाराजगी जाहिर कर रहे हैं. वरिष्ठ नेताओं की नाराजगी पर कांग्रेस नेताओं का दूसरा गुट पलटवार कर रहा है. देखें हल्ला बोल.
