आज उत्पन्ना एकादशी है. कृष्ण पक्ष की मार्गशीर्ष यानी अगहन महीने की एकादशी को एकादशी देवी का जन्म हुआ था, इसलिए इस दिन को उत्पन्ना एकादशी कहते हैं. एकादशी एक देवी हैं, जिनका जन्म भगवान विष्णु से हुआ था. इसलिए यह दिन भगवान विष्णु को समर्पित है. आइए जानते हैं आज क्या करना है खास. मिट्टी या तांबे से बने दीपक और बर्तनों का प्रयोग करें. दीपक के नीचे थोड़े चावल जरूर रखें. लोहे से बने दीपक या दीये का प्रयोग नहीं करना चाहिए.
