यूपी के हमीरपुर के बेहद पुराने कल्पवृक्ष की देखभाल का जिम्मा अब प्रदेश सरकार ने उठाया है. यहां के लोगों की मानें तो इसकी उम्र है हजार साल. जिले में यमुना किनारे मौजूद इस बेहद पुराने वृक्ष का ऐतिहासिक और पौराणिक महत्व है. यहां के लोगों का दावा है कि पुराणों में इस वृक्ष का वर्णन है. ये कल्पवृक्ष यहां लोगों की आस्था और श्रद्धा का केंद्र बन चुका है. वहीं पर्यावरणविद भी इसे बेहद दुर्लभ मानते हैं. देखें ये रिपोर्ट.
