अमेरिका ने ड्रोन स्ट्राइक में अल कायदा के चीफ अल जवाहिरी को ढेर कर दिया. अल जवाहिरी (71 साल) ओसामा बिन लादेन की मौत के बाद से आतंकी संगठन अल कायदा का लीडर था. जवाहिरी काबुल में एक घर में छिपा था. अमेरिका के राष्ट्रपति जो बाइडेन ने अल जवाहिरी की मौत की पुष्टि की है. अमेरिका ने इस सीक्रेट ऑपरेशन को अंजाम दिया है. 2011 में ओसामा बिन लादेन के मारे जाने के बाद अल कायदा को ये अब तक का सबसे बड़ा झटका है. अल जवाहिरी ने अफगानिस्तान के काबुल में शरण ले रखी थी. अमेरिकी अधिकारियों के मुताबिक, इस हमले के लिए अमेरिका ने दो Hellfire मिसाइल का इस्तेमाल किया. ड्रोन हमले को शनिवार रात 9:48 बजे अंजाम दिया गया. अफगानिस्तान में जहां अल-जवाहिरी छिपा था वो बेहद पॉश है वो इलाका! देखें वीडियो.
Al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri has been killed in a CIA drone strike in Afghanistan on Saturday. US President Joe Biden said that 'justice has been delivered' after the US drone strike in Afghanistan this weekend killed Ayman al-Zawahri, who helped Osama bin Laden plot the September 11, 2001, attacks on the United States and ensured Al-Qaida survived and spread in the years after.
