Panini Anand is Executive Editor, Aajtak digital, at India Today, New Delhi.  He has worked as a Senior Assistant Editor at Rajasthan Patrika Pvt. Ltd, Consultant Editor (New Media), for Rajya Sabha TV and Principal Correspondent at Outlook weekly magazine. He has also made three documentary films on socio-political issues and worked as a producer for BBC Hindi Service. Panini has covered the BJP and Congress for more than a decade and also followed the socio-political movements across the country for 2 decades.

Panini is a poet, singer, cook, painter, commentator, traveller and photographer who has worked as reporter, producer and editor for organizations including BBC, Outlook and Rajya Sabha TV. An IIMC-New Delhi alumni who comes from Rae Bareli of UP, Panini is fond of the Ghats of Varanasi, Hindustani classical music, Awadhi biryani, Bob Marley and Pink Floyd, political talks and heritage walks.
