Shivendra Srivastava has been in the journalism industry for around 20 years, out of which he has been associated for almost 12 years with India Today Group - which is the India's largest media group.  Known for his bold prowess in the industry and his investigative work on fraud and corruption, he is currently the Deputy Editor of group channels and in in-charge of the digital platform UP Tak in India's most populous state - Uttar Pradesh. 

He has a knack for investigating matters related to Crime and has been amongst a few journalists who have exposed big Crime related matters like the Nithari case, PWD scam, where close relative of Delhi CM found involved in huge development work scam. He also exposed the matter of Spy Prostitutes, who were on hire to dig out secrets from high government authorities.

His interest in political beat had driven him around three years back to Lucknow from Delhi to cover Political issues in the India's most politically hot state. In his short tenure of political reporting he has established his identity as a fearless and straight reporter talking about issues of both the current as well as past ruling parties with facts and data. 

He is seen as one of the 'Breaking News Reporters' in this circle of journalists as his vast connect, interpersonal skills and extensive on-ground network gives him an edge over others. 

With his command over news details and ability to express fluently in both languages, he is amongst a very few who can be seen both on Hindi as well as English news channel of the TV Today Group.
