संशोधित प्रधानमंत्री जनधन योजना (पीएमजेडीवाई) में पांच सितंबर तक कम-से-कम 20 लाख लोग शामिल हुए हैं. इसके साथ वित्तीय समावेश के इस प्रमुख कार्यक्रम में खाताधारकों की कुल संख्या बढ़कर 32.61 करोड़ हो गई है, वित्त मंत्रालय ने यह जानकारी दी. केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने 14 अगस्त को समाप्त हुई चार साल की अवधि से आगे इस योजना को जारी रखने का फैसला किया, जिसका उद्देश्य औपचारिक बैंकिंग प्रणाली को "हर घर से हर वयस्क" तक ले जाना है. new 20 lakh people join modified Jandhan schemeAs many as 20 lakh people have joined the modified Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY), taking the total number of account holders in the flagship financial inclusion programme to 32.61 crore as on 5 September, according to finance ministry data.
