CID: सिलेक्शन न होने पर छात्र ने किया पूर्व क्र‍िकेटर पर जानलेवा हमला

किसी क्रिकेटर को टीम में न शामिल करना भी सेलेक्टर की जिंदगी पर खतरा बन कर सामने आ सकता है, ये सोचना जरा अजीब है, लेकिन डीडीसीए के चीफ सेलेक्टर और पूर्व इंडिया क्रिकेटर  अमित भंडारी के साथ सोमवार को कुछ ऐसा ही हुआ. भंडारी पर एक उभरते किक्रेटर ने सिर्फ इसलिए अपने दोस्तों के साथ मिलकर बैट और डंडों से भयानक हमला किया, क्योंकि भंडारी ने उसे मुश्ताक अली ट्रॉफी के लिए चुनना ठीक नहीं समझा था. भंडारी के सिर पर टांके लगे हैं और पुलिस हमलावर की तलाश कर रही है.

Unidentified men assaulted former Indian cricketer and chairman of the DDCA senior selection committee Amit Bhandari on Monday. The incident took place during the trials of Under 23 team at St Stephen ground. Injured Amit Bhandari has been admitted to Sant Parmanand Hospital with head and leg injuries. Now he is out of danger. Police arrested the accused Anuj Dheda and his accomplice Naveen. Watch this video for more details.
