उत्तर प्रदेश विधानसभा चुनाव (Uttar Pradesh Assembly Elections) को लेकर अपने प्रचार कार्यक्रम को खत्म कर दिल्ली रवाना हुए AIMIM प्रमुख असदुद्दीन ओवैसी की गाड़ी पर तीन-चार राउंड फायरिंग हुई. असदुद्दीन ओवैसी ने खुद ट्वीट कर गाड़ी पर गोलीबारी का दावा किया है. इसके बाद असदुद्दीन ओवैसी ने इस पूरे प्रकरण पर अपना जवाब दिया है. ओवैसी पर इस हमले के बाद उत्तर प्रदेश की सियासत गरमा उठी है. शिवसेना और समाजवादी पार्टी ने इस पर सवाल उठाते हुए कहा कि ये हमला है या सियासी दांव? देखिए.
