Film producer Madhu Mantena Verma is on the Narcotics Control Bureau's (NCB) radar after his name surfaced during Jaya Saha's interrogation. Chats exchanged between Madhu Mantena and Jaya Saha, that were accessed by the NCB, reveal that they had spoken on June 22, 2020, regarding drugs. Madhu Mantena, who was one of the producers of the film Udta Punjab, had asked Jaya Saha for weed, to which Jaya had responded saying she will have it sent to him.
