पॉप सिंगर लेडी गागा की ऑस्कर में परफॉर्मेंस के बाद उनके परिवार को मालूम पड़ा कि उनके साथ बलात्कार किया गया था.

ऑस्कर में अपनी परफॉर्मेंस के दौरान लेडी गागा यौन हमले की 50 पीड़ि‍ताओं के साथ शामिल हुई थीं. पीपल मैगजीन की रिपोर्ट में बताया गया है कि पोकर फेस की स्टार के साथ 19 साल की उम्र में रेप किया गया था, लेकिन अपने साथ हुए यौन शोषण के बारे में उन्होंने अपने परिवार के कई सदस्यों को नहीं बताया.

इंस्टाग्राम पर किए गए एक पोस्ट में 29 साल की गागा ने कहा कि 'टिल इट हैप्पेंस टू यू' की जबर्दस्त परफॉर्मेंस के बाद उनकी दादी और चाची ने उन्हें फोन किया और उनकी बहादुरी की तारीफ की. गागा ने लिखा, 'मैं बहुत शर्मिंदा थी, बहुत डरी हुई थी. मेरे साथ गलत हुआ है यह मानने में मुझे खुद लंबा समय लगा, क्योंकि मैं कैथोलिक हूं और मैं जानती थी कि यह बुरा है लेकिन मैं समझती थी कि यह मेरी गलती थी.
