दिल्ली ने कोरोना को तो काबू में कर लिया लेकिन अब ब्लैक फंगस नए खतरे के रूप में सिर उठा रहा है. दिल्ली के ब्लैक फंगस के मरीज बढ़ते जा रहे हैं और कल तक मरीजों की संख्या 620 तक पहुंच गई लेकिन इन मरीजों के साथ समस्या ये हो रही है कि इस बीमारी को ठीक करने के लिए इस्तेमाल वाले इंजेक्शन अम्फोटेरेसिन-भी की भारी कमी है. ब्लैक फंगस के बढ़ते मामलों को देखते हुए दिल्ली स्वास्थ्य विभाग ने सभी सरकारी और निजी अस्पतालों को हर रोज शाम चार बजे तक मरीजों का डाटा उपलब्ध कराने को कहा है ताकि अम्फोटेरेसिन बी की मांग और आपूर्ति का अंदाजा मिल सके. देखें

Black fungus has emerged as a potentially life-threatening Covid-19 complication that prompted the Centre last week to ask states to declare the disease notifiable under the Epidemic Diseases Act. Meanwhile, Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal said there is a severe shortage of the medicine needed to treat at least 620 people undergoing treatment for mucormycosis, or black fungus, in Delhi's hospitals.
