Monsoon Update: झमाझम बारिश से पानी-पानी दिल्ली, आईटीओ से लाजपत तक हर इलाके में जलभराव

दिल्ली-एनसीआर में बीती रात से जोरदार बारिश से सुबह दिल्ली तरबतर हो गई. करीब 3 घंटे की मूसलाधार बारिश से उमस और गर्मी से तो राहत मिली लेकिन सड़कों पर घुटनों तर पानी भरने से ट्रैफिक की आफत हो गई. चंद घंटो की बारिश में पूरी दिल्ली एक दरिया बन गई. फिर कहीं गाड़ी फंस गई तो कहीं सड़क के बीचों बीच कार बंद हो गई, कहीं लोग अपनी दुपहिया धकेल कर सड़कों पर भरे पानी को पार करते नजर आए. बारिश तो फिलहाल बंद है लेकिन जलभराव से लंबा जाम लगा गया है. आईटीओ से लाजपत तक हर इलाके में जलभराव है. देखें ये वीडियो.

An orange alert has been issued for Delhi after heavy rain pounded the city on Saturday morning. According to the India Meteorological Department, the national capital recorded 139 mm rainfall, the highest one-day rain for August in at least 13 years. People in Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR) woke up to a rainy morning on Saturday, bringing relief after days of sultry and humid weather.
