कर्नाटक हाईकोर्ट ने मंगलवार को राज्य में शैक्षणिक संस्थानों में हिजाब पर प्रतिबंध बरकरार रखा. अदालत के इस फैसले पर ऑल इंडिया मजलिस-ए-इत्तेहादुल मुस्लिमीन (AIMIM) नेता और हैदराबाद के सांसद असदुद्दीन ओवैसी ने असहमति जताई है. उन्होंने सवाल उठाया है कि स्कूल-कॉलेजों में जब दीवाली की पूजा हो सकती है और तिलक लगाकर बच्चे स्कूल जा सकते हैं तो हिजाब को लेकर इतनी परेशानी क्यों है? देखें

AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Tuesday said that he 'disagrees' with the Karnataka High Court’s verdict on the hijab row.'I disagree with the judgment on hijab. It’s my right to disagree with the judgment and I hope that petitioners appeal before the Supreme Court (SC),' Owaisi said.
