फ्रंटफुट पर किसान, सरकार चाहती है समाधान; सबकी निगाहें कल की बैठक पर

केंद्र के नए कृषि कानूनों का विरोध कर रहे किसानों की कल सरकार से फाइनल बात होनी है. इससे पहले ही किसानों ने दिल्ली की नाकेबंदी तेज कर दी. किसान फ्रंटफुट पर हैं और सरकार चाहती है कि आंदोलन खत्म हो. ऐसे में सबकी निगाहें कल किसानों और सरकार के बीच होने वाली बैठक पर टिकी हैं.

The deadlock between protesting farmers and the Centre continued as no consensus was arrived at the meeting held between farmers' leader and government ministers on Tuesday. At Tuesday meet, the farmer unions rejected the government’s offer to set up a committee to look into issues raised by them and said they will intensify their stir until their demands are met. In a statement, the All India Kisan Sangharsh Coordination Committee (AIKSCC) said they rejected the government proposal to form a five-member committee to look into the objections and study the concerns, while asserting that such committees have led to no results in the past. Union minister Tomar said the farmer unions have been asked “to come with specific issues in the laws and we are ready to discuss and address their concerns" and they will meet again on December 3.
