मौलाना अरशद मदनी के बयान पर विवाद बढ़ गया है. जमीयत उलेमा ए हिंद के 34वें अधिवेशन में मदनी ने कहा कि ऊं और अल्लाह एक ही हैं. मदनी RSS चीफ के उस बयान का जवाब दे रहे थे, जिसमें उन्होंने कहा था- हिंदुओं और मुसलमानों के पूर्वज एक जैसे हैं. लेकिन मदनी के बयान पर हिंदू धर्मगुरुओं ने कड़ा विरोध दर्ज कराया है.
