पंजाब में कांग्रेस की हालत एक कदम आगे तो दो कदम पीछे वाली हो गई है. कल तक सिद्धू के प्रदेश अध्यक्ष बनने का रास्ता साफ लग रहा था लेकिन आज पेच फिर फंसता दिख रहा है. कैप्टन अमरिंदर ने प्रताप सिंह बाजवा का नाम आगे कर पेच फंसा दिया है. इतना ही नहीं अमरिंदर के समर्थन में 10 कांग्रेस विधायकों ने चिट्ठी लिख कर बयान जारी दिया है. सभी ने कैप्टन अमरिंदर सिंह के नेतृत्व में चुनाव लड़ने की बात कही है. उधर बाजवा के घर अमरिंदर समर्थक सांसदों की बैठक होनी है. बैठक के बाद कांग्रेस सांसद सोनिया गांधी से मिलगें, सोनिया से ये अपील की जाएगी कि सिद्धू को पंजाब कांग्रेस का अध्यक्ष न बनाया जाए. आजतक संवाददाता आशुतोष से बातचीत में देखें क्या बोले प्रताप सिंह बाजवा.

Amid continued infighting in the Punjab Congress, state Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha MPs will meet at the residence of Rajya Sabha member Partap Singh Bajwa in Delhi on Sunday, urging the Congress leadership not to appoint Navjot Singh Sidhu as the state unit chief. Captain Amarinder has implicated the name of Pratap Singh Bajwa. Not only this, 10 Congress MLAs have issued a statement by writing a letter in support of Amarinder.
