नीरज चोपड़ा ने टोक्यो ओलंपिक्स में जेवलिन थ्रो में गोल्ड मेडल जीत कर ना सिर्फ भारत का नाम दुनिया में ऊंचा किया है बल्कि भारतीय खेल को नयी दिशा दे दी है. पानीपत जैसे छोटे से शहर से निकलकर नीरज ने वो कर दिखाया जो बरसों से भारत का सपना था. आजतक से एक्सक्लूसिव बात करते हुए नीरज ने बताया कि 11 साल की उम्र में वजन घटाने के लिए उन्होंने एक्सरसाइज शुरू की थी. वहां अपने दोस्त को भाला फेंकते देख उन्हें भी इसमें दिलचस्पी लगी. नीरज का मानना है कि गलती से ही शुरू हो गया जेवलिन थ्रो. देखें और क्या बोले गोल्डन बॉय.

Neeraj Chopra has become the pride of the nation by winning the gold medal in Tokyo Olympics and has also given a new direction to Indian sport. Talking exclusively to Aaj Tak, Neeraj told that at the age of 11, he started exercising to lose weight. Seeing his friend throwing the spear, he also got interested in it.
