बंगाल: CBI करेगी चुनाव बाद हुई हत्या-रेप के मामलों की जांच, देखें क्या बोला कोर्ट

कलकत्ता हाई कोर्ट ने पश्चिम बंगाल में चुनाव नतीजों के बाद रेप और हत्या जैसे गंभीर मामलों की जांच राज्य सरकार को सीबीआई को सौंपने को कहा है. इस मामले में गुरुवार को कलकत्ता हाईकोर्ट में सुनवाई हुई. कलकत्ता हाईकोर्ट की 5 जजों की बेंच ने चुनाव बाद हिंसा में रेप और हत्या के मामलों की जांच केंद्रीय जांच ब्यूरो (CBI) को सौंपने को कहा है. इसके अलावा चुनावी हिंसा के दूसरे मामलों की जांच के हाई कोर्ट की निगरानी में गठित एक स्पेशल जांच टीम करेगी. अदालत ने पश्चिम बंगाल की ममता बनर्जी सरकार को सीबीआई को मदद करने को कहा है. देखें

The Calcutta High Court has ordered a court-monitored probe by the CBI into the alleged incidents of rape and murder as it heard a set of PILs on post-poll violence in Bengal. "All cases of murder and crimes of rape should be given to CBI for investigation," a five-judge bench led by Acting Chief Justice Rajesh Bindal pronounced the judgment on the matter on Thursday. For other cases, the court ordered a special investigation team (SIT).
